Critical Role has unveiled its new and returning characters in Campaign 3 – let’s meet them and find more about them.
The web series returned for a much-anticipated third campaign on October 21st, 2021.
Note that spoilers follow for the new characters below so that’s your final warning if you haven’t watched the premiere. WHAT IS A CRITICAL ROLE?
Critical Role is web series where a cast of professional voice actors play Dungeons & Dragons.
The show’s first campaign consisted of 115 episodes from 2015 to 2017, followed by Campaign 2 which premiered in January 2018.It finished in June 2021 after 141 episodes.

Laura Bailey has returned with a brand new character, called Imogen, while Marisha Ray portrays a newbie named Laudna.
A lot of fans are particularly excited about Laudna, with many calling the character “utter perfection” and “stunning”.Next we have Ashton played by Taliesin Jaffe and Sam Riegel has taken on the role of Fresh Cut Grass.

It’s safe to say that many fans are gutted that Liam, Travis and Ashley don’t have new characters in Campaign 3.
But many are excited in general since the web series has returned this fall.
“I’m just so happy that @CriticalRole is back with a new campaign! I love all of these characters so much already,” one Twitter user reacted.
Another one added: “Honestly there was only one thing I was wishing for campaign 3. I wanted everyone to play characters they loved and could have fun with. I have to say that I got my wish! Could not be more excited. I got my wish and on top of that, @robbiedaymond is back?!?!?? YASSSSSS.”
