Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir shared the joy of Eid with helpless, distressed people.
He distributed the meat of sacrificial animals among the destitute, helpless and orphans in more than 200 places of the country.
Like every year, this year too, it is organized in relatively indigent villages to bring smiles on the faces of poor and helpless people. Dealers of Bashundhara Cement, King Brand Cement and Bashundhara Bitumen cooperated in this work.
Note that sacrifice is one of the most ancient acts of worship in the world. From the first prophet Adam (peace be upon him) to the last prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) all the prophets and messengers of the world have sacrificed. Farewell Hajj The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sacrificed 100 camels to express his gratitude to Allaah, of which 63 he slaughtered himself and the rest were slaughtered by Ali (ra). (Sunan Tahabi, Hadith: 6236)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to eat the meat of the sacrificial animal in three portions and distribute it among his relatives and helpless people. It is narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn’ Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to feed his family one-third of the sacrifices, feed his neighbors one-third and give alms to the beggars. (Al-Mughni: 9/449)
Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir sacrificed in more than 200 places as per that instruction.
